dc.description.abstractVietnam is a developing country with more than half of population living in rural areas and under the poverty line. As past valuable experience from other countries, the Vietnam government has implemented microfinance as a poverty-alleviation tool for many years. There are lots of similarities between those learned models and Vietnam replicas but there are also big differences and gap between them that need to clarified and put in more creativeness. On that purpose, this thesis was divided in to six chapters going through microfinancing theories, learned microfinance institutions models in foreign countries and their lessons as well as Vietnam microfinancing main issues and viewpoints. From very general knowledge and study approach to specific ideas and decisions in national context, this study intended to suggest some moderate thoughts towards microfinancing instrument in Vietnam poverty alleviation process. There are always reasons behind any action or alternatives so that this research was willing to disclose partially the Vietnamese microfinancing way based on legal regulations and implementation. After that, recommendations were given on personal standpoints and the narrowed situation to all raised issues.en_US
