dc.description.abstractThis paper evaluates the performance of human resources department of Trust bank by analyzing the current recruitment, selection and training activities. It also analyzes the problems of recruitment process of the bank. By knowing the causes for problems, the solutions are established for improving effectiveness of recruitment at the bank. The methodology, for primary data, comes from collecting data from having in-depth interview with the bank’s manger of strategy and planning division. Secondary data comes from reading, researching documents and information relevant to the topic, and then selecting which information to be used. These data are information and theories from human resource management books, internet websites, and magazines of economics, journals, and articles and so on. The one major problem for Trust bank is the unproductive works of the current recruitment process. This paper makes a remark on the bank’s lacking of a standardized recruitment process. In the process of recruitment, there is not any existent of job description and job specification. In additional to that, the bank is also lacking of designing test on the selection stage. This paper suggests that the bank’s human resource department should develop strategic vision on recruitment and selection of new employees.en_US
