A research of what will lead international university to achieve vision and mission and application of balanced scorecard in financial and internal process perspectives

Abstract

The power of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) model applied in business strategy management is now acknowledged worldwide. However, an application of Balanced Scorecard in Vietnam is still unpopular; especially it is completely new to University management. Therefore, this research paper is written for featuring out what will lead International University (IU) to achieving Vision and Mission. The Balanced Scorecard established from this research is a draft version for IU; it needs re-examine and fix in order to match with the Vision and Mission as well as conditions of IU, which change over time.

In short, the result of this research derived from a large process of survey, interview, and data analysis is a Balanced Scorecard that could apply for IU to enforce and track its strategy management for reaching the Vision, become a high quality research University.
