Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is referred to voluntary actions and behaviors a corporation invest its resources into in order to enhance the welfare of the society. Because of its importance on the reputation and image of a corporation, CSR has become a hot topic in nowadays business operation. In Vietnam, with a fast development of the economy, a lot of foreign corporations have been coming to this country as well as many domestic companies have developed. Thanks to that, CSR practices also spread fast in Vietnamese economy. This leads to an increasing concentration on CSR practices in research and study. However, most are focused on financial and customer perspective or other groups of stakeholders. Little has been done regarding the view of employees. Hence, this study tries to investigate the influence of the way employees perceive CSR programs on their attitudes and behaviors. The research is conducted at Bosch Vietnam Co., Ltd at Long Thanh, Dong Nai which is a plant producing push-belts with 1,500 associates. The survey focused on office staffs with around 500 associates. The data is analysed by reliability, validity, SEM model and bootstrap. The result indicates that CSR perception has a significant and direct effect on employees’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment; through that, it would have an indirect effect on their extra-role and in-role behaviors. In general, CSR practices and the way employees understand about them could improve their attitudes and performance, which can create a win – win situation for both the company and the employees. Hence, the suggestion is that Bosch Vietnam should try not only to enhance the CSR programs but also the way to communicate and motivate employees to involve in those programs. This study has contributed to the literature of CSR topic in Vietnamese context. Of course it still has limitations as well as room for future researches to develop.
