dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted to explore the factors that influence employees‟ turnover intention in fine-dining restaurant business in the area of Ho Chi Minh City. A total of 307 questionnaires were distributed to many restaurant employees to collect data, among these, there are 295 valid samples that are available to proceed the study. The study was applied the quantitative method for data analysis. Result shows that there are seven factors that have significant impact on the turnover intention of fine-dining restaurants. The most influenced factor is the non-supportive supervision, showing that when employees not getting the support from their supervisors, they tend to have high intention to leave their job. It is followed by the non-supportive coworkers, lack of training and development, bad operating conditions, lack of promotion, lack of communication and lastly, low salary, rewards and fringe benefits. The result of this study was carried out to help the restaurants‟ managers know which factors affect the turnover intention of their employee so that they can figure out the most appropriate solutions in their situations. Also, the conclusions and recommendations at the end might be useful to help these managers to maintain their employees as well as to reduce the overall high turnover rate in the business at the moment.en_US
