dc.description.abstractEmotional intelligence concept is becoming familiar with organizations or companies in term of human resources management. Moreover, when most of the tasks in the progress are done by groups or team so increasing team effectiveness through each member’s emotion is becoming more crucial needs for businesses. However, following this trend, there are still many conflicts in the definition of EI and does not have enough empirical data of emotional intelligence for group construct. Especially in Viet Nam, the lack of effective human resource is still exist throughout stories in local newspaper. That is why studying about the effect of emotional intelligence to team effectiveness should be a considered an alternative solution to solve the problem. This paper will examine the effect of emotional intelligence to group or team’s effectiveness. This paper strongly argues that team effectiveness is gotten an impact from EI and may give some advices in term of developing strategies for business organizations.
