Investigating factors that influence employee engagement - A case study of Duong Hung seafood limited company
Abstract
The mission of this project is to investigate the level of employee engagement
toward Duong Hung Seafood Company. This research aim at examining factors that
influence employee engagement and the level of influence of each factor. Quantitative
method is used to discover the result. Questionnaire sheets are distributed directly in hand
with sample size of 275 respondents, who are fulltime employees at Duong Hung Company.
SPSS instrument was used to interpret primary data, with five tests used – Descriptive,
Reliability, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis. It
revealed that Employee Empowerment has the most influential impact on employee
engagement. Besides, Relationship with coworker, Training and Development, Leader
Consideration hold positive relationships with employee engagement as well. Based on the
result, some recommendations are proposed to achieve the improvement of employee
engagement level.
