Applying balanced scorecard to IU, VNU, HCM : Customer and learning and growth perspectives
Abstract
The power of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) model in business strategy management is
now acknowledged worldwide. However, an application of Balanced Scorecard in Vietnam is still unpopular; especially it is completely new to University management. Therefore, this research paper is written for featuring out how to apply Balanced Scorecard to International University (IU), Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. Results of this research, derived from a large process of interviewing and analyzing qualitative data, indicates what will lead to the achievement of mission, vision and strategy of the university, with respect to Balanced Scorecard perspectives: Customer and Learning and Growth.
