dc.description.abstract | The present study focuses on examining the link of corporate social responsibility (CSR) between organizational performance (OP) based on stakeholders’ concept in the context of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). Through both online and offline surveys, a valid sample of 280 respondents was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. Model fit was tested and achieved. The findings revealed an average positive relationship between CSR and OP in this context in which eight out of 11 hypotheses were statistically significant. This means that socially responsible activities related to supplier, community, and environment can improve organizational performance, while CSR relevant to customer (partly) and employee were not. Further, the social responsibility towards stakeholders is partly and voluntarily bear by SMEs; however, it does not include in their strategy, rather, it is more a straightforward and spontaneous approach.
