This paper investigates the relationship between imports and economic growth in 32 countries in the Asian region. In order to achieve this objective, annual data of these countries is collected ranging from 2002 to 2019, and checking the results is conducted by using the Granger-Causality tests. Eventually, the result demonstrates that GDP does not cause imports and the effect of GDP on imports is not displayed. Therefore, long-term relationships among variables seem to not exist from the overall look of the whole of Asia.en_US
