The Effect Of Destination Image On Tourist Satisfaction And Future Intention (A Case Study In Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Quang Binh Provice)
Abstract
This paper was conducted in order to explore factors having effects on visitors'
intention in future in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. Based on the model as well as
the literature review of related papers conducted by previous researchers, the proposed
model of this research is developed with 7 variables including: Travel environment, Natural
and cultural characteristics, Tourism for infrastructure, Local government support,
Destination Image, Tourist satisfaction and Future intention. Besides, this paper would use
a quantitative approach as the main method to analyze some statistical methods by SPSS
and AMOS software. Survey of this research was participated by 313 visitors who have
traveled to PN-KB National Park at least one time.
The paper's results show that all the hypotheses are supported. To be more
specific, The Future Intention will be directly affected by Destination Image and Tourist
Satisfaction ; in which, Destination Image has a stronger influence. Besides, Destination
Image are affected by 4 independent factors namedly Travel environment, Natural and
cultural characteristics, Tourism for infrastructure, Local government support; in which,
factor named Tourism for infrastructure has the most effect while Natural and cultural
characteristics has the least influence. In addition, Destination Image positively affects
Tourist Satisfaction.
In conclusion, this paper, like other studies, had its limitations. However, via
the analysis process of collected data, this study generated notable recommendations for
PN-KB National Park as well as other research conducted in the future in the related
industry.
