dc.description.abstractBehavior finance which considers the human behaviors in finance is a quite new area. Behavior finance theories, which are based on the psychology, attempt to understand how emotions and cognitive errors influence individual investors‟ behaviors. The research begins with the existing theories in behavior finance. The questionnaires distributed to individual investors at the Stock Companies in Ho Chi Minh City. The collected data are analyzed by using SPSS software. The result shows that there are five behavioral factors of individual investors: Herding, Market, Prospect, Overconfidence, and Anchoring-ability bias. This research is given recommendations to investors are that they should consider carefully before investment, but should not care too much about the pr ior loss for later investment and should not reduce their regret in investment by avoiding selling decreasing stocks and selling increasing ones.en_US
