Business plan of social enterprise for a biomass briquette in Ho Chi Minh City
Abstract
Nowadays, many small eating houses, peddle wares and low – income households are still using honeycomb coal or firewood for cooking. These fuel had negative issues
for environment and health problem. This study focused on business plan for social entreprenuer to develop biomass briquette which can be alternative product for honeycomb coal and firewood.
The business plan includes three mainly part: marketing, operational and financial plan. In this research, both quantative and qualitative approach were used to test the feasibility of the business plan. In detail, a focus group and questionnaires were tools which provided data to analyse for researcher.
The results are quite positive. There are 87% of available respondents willing to change to new product if it is an innovative. They are a potential consumers who require a large fixed quantity of product in each day. Moreover, price is considered as
the most important factor affecting to buying decision of customers.
