Flowering process of Torenia fournieri L. is different under differently light conditions. In this report, light generated from light emitting diodes (LEDs) i.e. monochromatic blue, monochromatic red, LEDs blue plus red and fluorescent lights were examined in different ratios (100% red; 90% red:10%blue; 80% red:20%blue; 70% red:30%blue; 60% red:40%blue; 50% red:50%blue; 100% blue; Fluorescent lamp) were examined. After 40 days of cultured, number of flower formation, and the rate of flowering of Torenia fournieri L. were measured under each experiment. The results show that shoots on MS medium supplemented with 60 g sucrose, 0.1 mg l-1 NAA, is suitable for flower formation. Condition of 80% LEDs red and 20% LEDs blue promotes flower formation of Torenia fournieri L. (100.00% of flower formation and 2.1 flower buds/shoot), whereas the lowest rate of flower formation with plant incubated under 50% red : 50% blue (50.00% of flower formation and 0.4 flower buds/shoot). The Net photosynthesis rate is high (2.2934 µmol mol-1h-1 per plantlet) in culture condition have gas exchange.en_US
