This study use mitochondrial 16S region sequences to access the polymorphism and phylogenetic relationship between wild boar in the Vietnam’s central Highland area and the wild boar in the other countries, such as Korea, India, Philippine and Australia. The data analysis showed that most of the wild boar in Vietnam is closely genetic relationship to Philippine wild boar. Vietnam wild boar was genetically distance from the wild boar in Australia with the great distance with the estimated divergence time lead to 1569300 YBP. The estimated divergence time between Vietnamese wild boar with Korea and India wild boar are 34300YBP, 31400YBP.
