| dc.description.abstract | To exploit and produce product from Vietnamese ginseng, it is required a feasibility study of Vietnamese ginseng processing plant in Kontum. In this study, we will point out some points in designing the new processing plant for Vietnamese ginseng in Kon Tum. The thesis employs some industrial engineering techniques such as: location analysis, simulation, engineering economics and etc. The theory is referenced to many related book: Operations Management, Engineering Economy, Facility planning and etc. Going through the study, we will decide the location for the plant, recommend some products and their technology process, design the facility planning including workshop, and warehouse, use simulation to perform the production activities, and evaluate the economy of the plant. However, the study exists some limitations and there are some points needed a deeper study to be clear: market survey, scheduling, and human resources.
