Abstract
A Study the effects of parameters on the reaction of luminescent quantum dots based on zinc Phuong Duong a,*, Dr. Bich Thi Luongb aSchool of Biotechnology, International University – Vietnam National University in HCMC bInstitute of Applied Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Email: duongtuminhphuong@gmail.com The luminescent quantum dots based on zinc have been recognized due to their good optical, luminescent properties, chemical stability. More interestingly, doping with other transition metallic ions such as Mn, Ag, Cu or lanthanide atoms (Ir, Y, Gd, Pr) into quantum dots enhances the photoluminescence quantum yields. However, these core/doped nanocrystals were synthesized in organic solvent using metal-organic reagents that is less economic, uneasy and unfriendly environmental systems due to many by-products and wastes after reactions (Luong, 2013). Therefore, water is using as a new environment-friendly solvent for quantum dots synthesis. In this study, I intend to study parameters which affect on the reaction of luminescent quantum dots based on zinc in aqueous phase. Keywords: Quantum Dots Doping Aqueous phase
