Applying compromise programing for multi-objective aggregate production planning: A case study in NutiFood Company
Abstract
The Aggregate Production Plan (APP) is a schedule of the association's general operations over a planning periods to fulfill request while maximizing profit. Building an APP model requires numerous data, for example, the demand of the organization, the capacity of the production line, the number of hired and laid-off workers, etc. Consequently, the APP model will provide us the optimal production plan in detail, the exact inventory level in each time period, the workforce level, etc. NutiFood Company is one of the top companies producing milk for baby, teenage, adult and always gets the highest output every year. However, there are some problems in production planning that to productivity of company. Therefore, this thesis applies an objective model for APP formulate NutiFood Company problem and uses comproming programming to solve this model. The results suggest the boundary of solution that allows decision makers seclect one of the solutions based on the preference.
