dc.description.abstractThe food processing industry in Vietnam has greatly developed over the last few years and accounted for the major segment of the economy and GDP, especially fresh food production. Despite of that scenario, many domestic companies are facing with a lot of difficult situations because of some factors like the variability of raw materials, the varying prices, the variable processing times and yields, the fiercely competitive from many potential foreign companies, the rapid changeable demand of customers, production planning in fresh food industry seems to be a challenging task. To survive in these tough conditions, the company has to have the accurate and specific production planning to optimize their process and maximize their product quality, minimize the cost, meet the right time and ensure the right quantity and quality. Therefore, the production planning plays an important role in making sure that the process meets all necessary standards. In this thesis, the application production planning, the combination information of many skills industrial engineering, are used to create the best model in this case study.
