Recent years, pneumonia is the common disease that mostly effect on children and old adults. There are antibiotic resistance and adverse reactions of traditional treatment method. Thus, the alternative treatment method are rapidly be studied for patients who are infected. According to previous studies, we know that lactic acid bacteria which present the potential of anti-microorganism. However, the detail mechanisms and functions are unclearly understood. My experiment demonstrated Lactobacillus rhamnosus which could improve and prevent in infectious mice with Klebsiella pneumoniae that causes pneumonia. Study exploited that L. rhamnosus is able to stimulate the immune response through using RT-PCR to determine IL-6, IL-8. As a result in detection interleukins that only exist IL-8. Moreover, there are different changes in mice lung which were checked by histological method, blood parameters as neutrophils, monocytes, neutrophils. Certainly, L. rhamnosus may prevent and refresh K. pneumoniae infected mice, particularly, IL-8 does not only play an important role in immune response against respiratory pathogen, but also reduce inflammation of K. pneumoniae infection.
