This thesis was carried out in order to ascertain the possibility to recover methane gas and reduction of organic matter from wastewater containing biodegradable organic materials, particularly tapioca wastewater. It mainly used anaerobic reactor with different organic loading rates and temperatures. The results of thesis indicated that tapioca processing wastewater had high ability of biogas production and difference in organic loading rate lead to difference in biogas generation rate. It also showed that the temperature had effect on biogas generation rate.en_US
