Applying genetic algorithm for perishable goods delivery and scheduling with time window
Abstract
In recent year, the customs’ requirements are increasing, so public services have to improve their logistics chain to satisfy their custom’ demand such as the quality, quantity of goods and also delivery times. That will help suppliers enhance their competence in the market nowadays.
There is a varied range of goods is available in the market, but perishable goods, fresh foods which lose its value significantly in a delivery process must be in the consideration of each delivery system. If they can supply to customs on time, the price of goods can stand at 100%. However, the more late time, the more profit was decreased.
And this problem is defined as vehicle routing problem with time-window (VRPTW) which always faced with 3 problems: keep the value of goods, control travel cost and remind the satisfying of customs.
