dc.description.abstract | The article content illustrates the non-permutation flowshop scheduling with dual resources. Three crucial factors: job, labor, and machine are combined to form the mathematical model. Job will be accepted to skip one or more machines dependent on the production requirement. Labor includes different skill levels and each skill levels contain specific member units. The set-up time from a machine is dependent on the array of jobs. The linear mixed-integer programming model is formulated to figure out the optimal non-permutation sequence on labor, machine and product so as to minimize the inventory and maximize the service level in a flowshop. A case study of Pousung (one footwear factory in Vietnam) is chosen to apply the research. The data is collected from the factory. CPLEX software is performed. Results are verified and compared with current situation of the company, to evaluate the effectiveness of the model in making flowshop scheduling decisions.
