dc.description.abstract | This dissertation is concerned with the multi-store multi-product edible bird’s nest retailing problem with the comparison and selection of two Business model of purchase operation. The first Business model is modeled as a single formulation and the latter is modeled as a two-level formulation. In the two-level programming case, the retailer is the upper-level decision maker which has several stores in Ho Chi Minh City and makes a contract with a distributor from the same enterprise to purchase edible bird’s nest products. More specifically, the retailer sold edible bird’s nest products to the customers which are purchased from the distributor, then the distributor buys products ordered from the retailer at the wholesalers in several areas, and transports them by trucks from the wholesalers to the retailer’s storehouses. The multi-store scenario involves a distributor or Business Model 2 is solved together with Business Model 1 in order to compare and determine the suitable solution for the corporation to choose for their upcoming purchase agreement.
