dc.description.abstract | In the production using multi-purpose and flexible resources, reducing total completion time is become one of the most concerned topics by researchers. An important role of managing and controlling resources was witnessed in make-to-order companies, where the capacities and the resources are limited. In this study, the main purpose is to minimize the makespan of production line by finding the feasible starting time and ending time of each job followed sequence of resources (machines/workers), which jointly consider available time, due date, conflict job, precedence activity, and resource constraint. The linear programming is proposed based on the case study of preparation department in SPG Chi Hung liabilities company, which directly produce make-to-order Adidas’s product. This final solution is gained thanks to the CPLEX Solver, and the real data about number of resources, time,… will be collected and applied. The final solution is presented by Gantt chart.
