dc.description.abstractMycorrhiza is the symbiosis between the soil fungi and the plant root, that are essential for plant growth, absorbing of nutrients, protecting of plant from abiotic stress. This study surveyed the mycorrhizal fungi and rice plant associations from two different rice fields in Thoai Son- An Giang province. The total number of spore is 81 spores and 124 spores, respectively in Sample 1 and Sample 2. About 13 putative species among 4 genera were isolated and identified: Glomus, Gigaspora, Entrophospora and Acaulospora by morphological analysis. This is premise for further studies in mycorrhizal fungi identification by molecular technique. The Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) colonization in both rice plant roots were found with three structural colonization as hyphae, vesicles and arbuscules by magnified intersection. The percentage of AMF colonization is 24.1% and 29.6%, respectively for each sample. Hence, this information showed that there was symbiotic between fungi and rice plant from both sampling places. Examination of different fungal mycorrhizal species inoculum in a different culture as PGK agar and sucrose liquid, which helps to standardize and assess realizable method.en_US
