dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to reduce the waiting time in each workstation and minimize the completion time of entire production system simultaneously. Based on identical parallel machines and workstation revisiting problem of Wanek Furniture company whose factory is confronted with large production orders, this thesis would like to focus on the flow shop scheduling of production in furniture factory. In order to do that, this paper investigates the optimal way of splitting job formulated as a Linear Programming model which is evaluated by a real situation of company. In addition to objective, many constraints were considered to apply. Our model can be applied in furniture field, especially suitable for industry or company which products are manufactured in flow shop scheduling.
