Resource scheduling of jobshop system with time constraint: A case study of ABC company
Abstract
In recent decades, industry, especially manufacturing, has become a crucial factor for the economy in Viet Nam, so production using flexible resources to reduce total production time has become one of the most significant issues by many enterprise managers. As a result, in this thesis research, the main objective is to arrange the proper number of machines in the reworked line to finish a fixed number of products in a limited total completion time
Besides, the scope of this thesis will have six parts with collecting and researching essential information from lessons, books, and some reference research journals. Firstly, the Introduction section, which shows the reason why I choose to study this topic by presenting a platform for this study and a problem statement of a particular company. Next, the literature review and some related journals will be referred to in the Related Works part, and then, the Methodology stage will review some considerable approaches and the data collections and analysis. Thirdly, in the Modelling stage, the mathematical model will be presented, and after applying a programming language, I will find the optimal solution. In the Result part, a result of the experiment will be compared with the current process. Finally, in the conclusion part, the summary of the thesis will discuss with the main result, which gives some advice for this case study and analyze the environmental, social, and economic impacts of this research result. All to all, this thesis is not only a significant method to learn more clearly about my major but also a chance to practice specialized skills for the future job.
