An Application Of Linear Programming In Aggregate Production Planning With Certain Demand: The Case Study Scancom Company
Abstract
This thesis investigates a single objective Aggregate Production Planning (APP) problem with
certain demand. Currently the company is having problems planning production to respond to
changing certain demand. There is only main objective in this thesis considered which
minimize total cost. By using linear programming concept to solve the production-planning
problem especially for SCANCOM with local data. After develop the mathematical model
and collecting data, we can use CPELX 12.10 to solve the problem. Finally, the result is a
14.87% reduction compared to the actual costs of the company and provides a more efficient
planning solution for businesses with lower costs.
