A Wireless Network Data Transmission Via MQTT Server
Abstract
With the development in technology, IOT is now becoming a common practice to
communicate with day-today interacting appliance remotely using a portable device like
computer or Smartphone which has internet connectivity. In researching areas, old
methods of data collection such as recording parameters by hand with the support of
manual timer should be replaced by the application of Internet of Things that allow high
speed data transfer and communication between apparatuses. This thesis creates a
prototype of Data Collection System with the support from Message Queuing Telemetry
Transport which is needed for many Viet Nam manufacturers in industrial 4.0 era. The
objective of the research is providing an automatic product that collect data immediately,
analyze and visualize on a Local Area Network that later can be apply in production line
of machining factory. Throughout the design process, connection between board to
board, board to modules and board to MQTT servers are clearly clarified. The output of
the thesis is a combination of data sending module, data receiving module and an html
website displaying real-time information of the whole system.
