In Australia, fertilizer was not applied widely by the farmer since a price of fertilizer is quite high. Most of fertilizer consumed in this country has the foreign origin, which increases the price of fertilizer to certain rate. Therefore, South Australia Farmer Association (SAFA) demands a supply chain where materials will be imported from abroad, and different fertilizers are manufactured domestically. This thesis, incorporated with University of Adelaide, focuses on several models to design supply chain network in chapter 2. Thereafter, Modified Locating Plant and Warehouses Simultaneously with Time Window and Inventory-Supply Chain Network Design is utilized for invest new locations. Research of University of Adelaide indicating Plasma fertilizer effects to societal level, as well as farming efficiency is illustrated in chapter 3. Moreover, model validation after modification shows the validated solution and limitation of this model. Concerning the real data provided by SAFA, the implementation gives many insights and the analysis is conducted on cost of the whole supply chain. Lastly, scenarios analysis is conducted and comparison with proposed strategy is also considered.en_US
