dc.description.abstract | Warehouses are constantly faced with the challenges of efficiently optimizing layout because of
its limit availability. Generally, warehouse regularly incurs serious damage on profit (20% -60%
of the total production cost) due to the lack of properly layout design and strictly facilities control.
Non-standard warehouse layout design is the fundamental factor of decreased efficiency before
and after manufacturing process. In order to operate efficiently, the warehouse layout needs to be
roughly designed and optimally controlled. This research generates a literature overview on
developing layout methods that rearranging warehouse facility and product classification system
to eliminate space and improve warehouse productivity. It mainly focuses on the optimal layout
