dc.description.abstractIn a global furniture industry, warehouse management play an vital role. If a warehouse runs smooth, the operation cost will be reduced and working performance will be rose up. We decide to coordinate warehouse problem solve congestion problem in Scancom warehouse. As warehouse space is optimal, product quality can be improve and manufacturing cost can be minimized. In order to maximize working performance and minimize operation cost, there are many ways have been applied and receive some good results. In this essay, I concentrated on optimize performance of a specific warehouse layout. The warehouse layout design put two problems together: knits dedicated storage assignment policy and lot-sizing problem. Using Cplex software to solve the mixed integer model. The model find out how many to produce for each period, what locations an item could be assigned and how many of each item should be inventoried.en_US
