Supply Chain Design: A Case Study Of Iphone Reverse Logistics In Ho Chi Minh City
Abstract
In this day and age, electronic waste is a nightmare for developed and developing countries
including Vietnam. Experience from other countries shows that solving this problem is not
only a matter of government - people, but it is imperative to have the role of producers. iPhone
is a very popular phone in Vietnam, more and more people use iPhone, so problems start to
happen. The biggest problem is the environmental pollution caused by the large amount of
electronic waste from the iPhone thrown away, causing material waste as well as adversely
affecting the environment. This project will discuss issues related to reverse logistics for iPhone
in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh city in particular. The thesis will use the CPLEX
program to design the supply chain network, plan transportation. This research will include
sections such as forecast production and demand, designing the reverse supply chain for
recycling products.
