dc.description.abstractThis article aims to understand the factors affecting the motivation to work and retention of Gen Z employees in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. First, this study looks at the elements influencing motivation such as Work - person fit, Work - related, Training - Promotion, Income - Benefit, and Relationships at Work. Second, it examines the relationship between Motivation and Retention. Applying quantitative methods and implementing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the study analyzed the data of 332 people aged 18-27 to answer the survey questions. The results show that Work - person fit, Work - related, Training - Promotion, Income - Benefit, and Relationships at Work have a positive impact on motivation at work. In which, Work - related has the greatest impact on employee's motivation. Based on the findings of the study, impacts and proposed solutions are also mentioned.en_US
