Endless Runner Game Development Using Unity
Abstract
In this digital age, technology accounts for mainly almost industry because of its
convenience, efficiency, and even being better than human resources. In the entertainment industry,
games on any platform are growing up annually. People tend to play games anywhere they want
instead of playing outside. With the evolution of technology in the modern era, many developers
around the world started developing many games full of genres to satisfy their customers. To grasp
this trend, the thesis aims to make a casual game but very popular; it is called the Endless Runner
game. It is a part of Platform Games, the genre that achieved much success. The idea comes from
a casual 2D flatform game: Flappy Bird. This project will have more features than other traditional
products to make it less tedious. The thesis is implemented in Unity as the primary tool and C# as
the main language to avoid outdated bugs. The finished product will be available on multiple
platforms. However, due to the limited time, the thesis can only be shown on PC platforms.
