dc.description.abstract | Purpose – The objective of this study was to investigate the determinants that
have an impact on the entrepreneurial intention of Generation Z. The empirical
investigation focused on Binh Duong Province as the contextual setting for the research.
Research Methodology – This research adopted a quantitative approach in its
design and methodology. A total of 300 respondents were initially collected; however, for
qualification and validity, the study only focused on 202 eligible participants. Convenience
sampling was employed as the sampling technique, and data were gathered through online
questionnaires. The collected data were subsequently analyzed utilizing the SPSS software.
Findings – The findings of the study demonstrated a positive relationship
between attitude towards entrepreneurship, perceived behavioral control, risk-taking, and
entrepreneurship education with entrepreneurial intention. Specifically, it was confirmed
that these four factors had a significant impact on enhancing entrepreneurial intention.
However, the remaining factors under investigation were not supported to have significant
influence on entrepreneurial intention.
Research Limitations and Implications – The limitations of the study were
discussed, and practical implications were identified for the context of entrepreneurship in
Binh Duong Province.
Value of the Research – This research offered entrepreneurs, educators,
policymakers and government officials in Binh Duong, Vietnam valuable insights into the
entrepreneurial intention of Generation Z. It aimed to enhance their understanding of the
specific elements that contribute to the higher entrepreneurial intention of younger
