Impact Of Accounting Information In Financial Statements On Equity Prices Of Real Estate Enterprises Listed On Vietnam Stock Market
Abstract
Financial statements are the first subject to research and get used to
fundamental analysis for investors who are just starting to learn about stock
investing. The target of this study is to examine the relationship between
accounting information on financial statements and stock prices in the context
of Vietnam real estate listed firms on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange and
Ha Noi Stock Exchange during 2015 - 2021. From that, 482 observations are
collected and analyzed using panel data and statistical tools by from
STATA14. The research use ordinary least squares, fixed effect and random
effect model, generalized least square to evaluate how the independent
variables effect on the dependent variable. The recorded results point out that
earning per share (EPS), book value per share (BVPS) and return on equity
(ROE) have significant relationships with share prices. Financial leverage (FL)
is found to be insignificant reaction with the stock prices of selected firms.
