Warehouse Loading And Unloading Process Analysis And Improvement Using Arena Simulation
Abstract
The process of unloading and loading in a warehouse is studied in this paper, and a
simulation model of the system is developed using Rockwell Arena, a discrete event
simulator and automation software that uses the SIMAN processor and simulation
language, with data collected from observations at the warehouse. The findings will be
assessed to identify potential process bottlenecks, and solutions to enhance the process
will be applied to improvement models and compared to determine which strategy is
best.
