dc.description.abstract | Perishable products, the management of this temperature sensitive supply chain has its own feature
and logistics challenge compared to the non-perishable one and other kinds of supply chains. Until
now, the technique and method for the time being that is applied in this problem has not achieved
the optimization. The thesis focuses on how the vehicle routing problem of the whole supply chain
of potential perishable management will be, all its obstacles and how to solve it smartly. By the
way, online order scheduling is also considered. With the application method in this thesis, the
Rapidly Exploring Random Tree (RRT*) model, the research suggests that integration improves
service standards reducing the time between placing an order and getting the items based on the
Exact model that has been developed. Furthermore, adding the external parameter such as traffic
congestion, the integrated strategy results in average cost reductions. As a result, the integration
model is required for a quick and cost-effective distribution of goods. | en_US |
