apply green vehicle routing problem: A case study Giaohangtietkiem
Abstract
Nowadays, the expansion of global industry has resulted in great technological
advancements and enhanced people's material lives. However, transport is the
industry that releases the most gases and contributes to environmental degradation,
lead to people's quality of life is deteriorating.
This thesis proposes that urban logistics, especially truck networks, be
developed in a sustainable way to optimize of vehicle capacity while serving the
Vietnamese people in general and the people of Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
Then, a mathematical model for this problem is created using a combination of
VRP and product delivery model in the proposed urban context. The proposed
approach has two main objectives: The initial goal is to determine the distance -
the route of the car - to get the lowest vehicle cost and the shortest distance.
Second, reduce pollution while meeting the issue of vehicle routing aimed at
reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
In this thesis, the IBM ILOG CPLEX programming will be used to determine
the parameters and outcomes of green vehicle routing.
Result of this thesis, Giaohangtietkiem can apply and optimize travel distance,
operating costs, and optimize emissions to the environment. In addition, focus on
sustainability factors, such as economic, environmental and social development.
