dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, transportation plays an important to the supply chain over the world. Without
transportation, the global supply chain will break down and a lack of supply to meet demand
which increase. Taking advantage of that logistics companies have been established to
provide service transportation for import and export factories or forwarder companies to
meet the current demand in Vietnam. To compete in the logistics market, companies need
to pay attention and focus on improving quality in order to attract customers by meeting
requirements and satisfying customers about the services.
The Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) approach and Six Sigma
principles are used in this thesis to undertake an extensive analysis of a Logistics
Technology Start-up company in Viet Nam. The thesis's findings and suggested solutions
illustrate the potential advantages of using Six Sigma in increasing the level of service
provided by logistics technology start-ups in order to decrease delayed orders, incorrect
information, and a lack of responsiveness. The approaches of Six Sigma help the company
improve service to provide quality and reduce the complaint rate. In particular, this thesis
focuses on FCL container shipments that destination from warehouse to port and vice versa.
In the improvement phase, re-use containers and orphan garage cooperation are conducted
to reduce delayed orders and increase responsiveness for merchants that needs time to
maintain and give effective long-term. | en_US |
