Optimization In Delivery For Gene Sample Collection In Ho Chi Minh City: A Case Of Gene Solutions Company
Abstract
One of the primary obstacles that individuals confront in their everyday activities is the
expense of transportation of products and services. In today's society, this is considered as a
source of concern. Every day, a significant amount of money is spent on gasoline, products
and services delivery, equipment maintenance, and so on. This is where Operations Research
expertise and technique come into play to prove its practicality in diminishing those costs.
The purpose of this thesis focuses on establishing a realistic-based VRPTW model that can
be applied and developed more in enterprises with effort to cut down traveling expense and
save human resources. In addition, some key features and alternatives of vehicle routing
math are also mentioned. Data of three-day period in 12/2021 in inner Ho Chi Minh city
zone of a medical field related company case was examined. The result highlighted short
running time of the model and lower operating cost and traveling time on road traveling.
