focused initially on ranking and summarizing to find the best suppliers from the
collected data, then comparing two methods to find out the different from the results and
their own advantages and disadvantages. There are 100 people from many fields (80%
in steel industry, 20% in different majors) conduct the survey so that the data of the
importance criterion is collected. Then, the ranking of three suppliers in mainframe
fabrication is implemented by BOD, Supervisor Purchasing, and Quality Control Leader
in Universal Vietnam Steel Buildings. In this ranking, the data should be collected from
the experts who have worked with these suppliers and it is the private data as well. One
of the methods that be used in common to select supplier is Multiple Criteria Decision
Making. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Best Worst Method (BWM), and
Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) will be
applied to choose the supplier. In this study, there are three main criteria, included:

Treatment. In this study, each criterion will be compared together in order to ranking the
importance of each criterion when selecting supplier by survey of 100 people from

After that, the average score of each column of the survey data will be calculated to
choose the final score of each criterion. The private data of each supplier will be
collected from Universal Steel Buildings will use to ranking the supplier to check the
accuracy of MCDM and the real choice. Combining three methods which are listed
above to implement the AHP-TOPSIS, and BW-TOPSIS. So that, the view of selecting
suppliers will be larger. From that, the comparison between them will be made in order
to choose the best way to select supplier. The result of two methods is the same, but
