Optimizing Transportation Cost By Applying Vehicle Routing With Outsource: A Case Study Of Ecv

Abstract

Transportation cost optimization is always a difficult problem to think about. Transportation plays an important role in the process of getting products from producer to consumer. Therefore, facing the difficult situation of transport planning of Earth Corporation Vietnam, a study on solving the transportation cost optimization problem was established. This research focuses on using the mathematical model to optimize the traveling cost and optimize the vehicle used. The process is conducted based on the actual situation of the company and it can be said that this is a variant of the Vehicle Routing Problem. A named Enhance Multi Objectives Local Search algorithm is applied to solve this problem. The results are expected to reduce transportation costs as well as more efficient scheduling.
