dc.description.abstract | This thesis addressed a widely recognized optimization problem which is the
Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) of Nga Ba Bau market and
developed a solution, aiming to minimize the overall travelled route and minimize
the overall cost with the capacity constraints in consideration. A metaheuristic
method and a model of mixed integer linear programming was presented in order
to solve the goal function with the assist of two popular programs – CPLEX and
MATLAB. Their results were put into comparison and consideration in order to
recommend the best solution which is cost effective and highly efficient. The
effectiveness of the results was highlighted in their ability to perform the objective
