dc.description.abstract | Sericin extracted from Bombyx Mori cocoons was used to create sericin nanoparticles. Sericin was produced by two step desolvation and loaded doxorubicin. The doxorubicin loaded sericin nanoparticles were then measured by DLS to determine the size distribution and zeta potential. The functional groups transformation of sericin nanoparticles and doxorubicin-loaded sericin nanoparticles was measured by FTIR. The morphology of created nanoparticles was also determined by SEM. Finally, the drug release behavior of doxorubicin loaded nanoparticles was studied by dialysis. The loading drug process does not cause significant changes in morphology and size distribution of sericin nanoparticles. And drug release was under different pH of PBS buffer giving higher release at lower pH value. However, drug release was only about 4%. | en_US |
