The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of probiotic products on growth stimulation, immune response, and prevention of disease caused by Streptococcus agalactia in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) after 28 days of use. Fish at a weight of 12 ± 3 g, uniform size, and free of Streptococcus agalactia were chosen to be examined samples. Application two different types of product are probiotics – ProMac and postbiotics – Metalac. In addition, ProMac is a synthetic of prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics while Metalac is just postbiotics only. Postbiotics is a term refers to the waste left behind after digestion both prebiotics and probiotics. The length and weight of fish were measured periodically every 7 days, and immunological samples were collected on the same day. The test results showed that probiotic and postbiotic applications improved the overall water quality via TAN (total ammonia nitrogen) and nitrite contents. For growth performance, these applications did not negatively impact the lengths and weights compared with the control treatment. Probiotics (ProMac) and postbiotics (Metalac) also indicated potential benefits in longer application duration and at large scale. In addition, all products did not have any negative effect on survival rate. In general following all of result, can be make a prediction that ProMac products could supported sustained growth performance and survival in long term trails.en_US
