dc.description.abstract | The primary objective of this study was to investigate the factors that
influence the degree of employee engagement among Generation Z employees in the
hospitality industry situated in Ho Chi Minh City. The researcher employed a mixed methods research design by utilizing both online and offline surveys. The sample size of
376 was obtained through convenience sampling, and was deemed valid for the purposes
of the study. Subsequently, the dataset underwent an analysis utilizing SPSS and AMOS
tools. Subsequently, in accordance with the results of the research, various factors such as
Job Characteristics, Perceived Organizational Support, Perceived Supervisor Support,
Rewards and Recognition, and Person-Organization Fit are positively correlated with
employee engagement. There exist additional factors that could potentially impact an
employee's level of engagement in the workplace. The identification and validation of the
subject matter was not possible. Regarding the limitations and implications of the
research, the researcher will analyze the constraints of the study and its potential impact
on practical applications. Furthermore, the outcomes of this investigation have provided
hotel business managers and decision makers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with
additional perspectives on their Hoteliers. This enables them to gain a better
understanding of the variables that contribute to increased employee engagement and
reduced turnover intention within their organization. This paper pertains to several key
