Managing Diversity In The Workplace: Resolving Interpersonal Conflicts In Business Industry
Abstract
This study aims to explore the challenges of diversity management and
interpersonal conflict resolution in the business industry. By examining the concepts
of diversity management and the impact of interpersonal conflict on business
performance, the study seeks to understand the role of effective diversity management
in reducing conflict. The theoretical framework proposed by Thomas and Ely for
managing diversity will be evaluated, along with alternative methods for managing
diversity. In addition, special challenges in managing diversity in virtual teams will be
analyzed. The findings of this study will contribute to recommendations to promote
an inclusive workplace and foster positive interpersonal relationships within the
business industry. This research has the potential to make a significant contribution to
the area of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, particularly in the context of the
business industry. The research gaps identified in the existing literature highlight the
need for further investigation in this article
